I hate sleeping in cars. Much like airplanes, it is next to impossible for me to fall asleep in them… My brother is driving, I am dog tired, but I can’t seem to nod off.

I was able to chat on facebook with my wife for a good half hour or so. Then I tossed some trusty old Chris Botti and Michael Buble on and did my best to forget that I was in a car getting farther away from my wife with every second that passes…

Oh well, it will be a quick trip, just a lot of miles.

Shelby is reporting that they are going that they are going to go into production on the world’s fastest car in the fourth quarter.  I’m not the kind of guy that gets totally blown away by top speeds or 0-60 numbers…  But what did catch my attention was the 150-220 mile per charge battery, and the claim that it will recharge in 10 minutes from a 220 socket.

My brother in law told me about this last night, and I wrote it off as being way to good to be true.  This morning when I logged in it was at the top of my feed reader, so I figured even if it is to good to be true it sure is pretty to look at :-p

* Its official, officially bad

A snafu took place with a driver being installed that syncs user account info from one type of servers on to another type of servers, which essentially changed the password for EVERY user except Information Systems users.

This is perhaps the biggest and most horriffic thing ever to happen to my dept while I’ve worked there.  Luckily everyone kept their heads about them, and we worked through the problem as best we could…aaaand will continue to as we reset the password for every user on our network.

Happy Monday.

This article pretty much made me throw up in my mouth.  The premis is built around individuals selling their virginity…   The star of the story, a 22 year old who’s auction is currently fetching 3.8 million.

I get that if you don’t have any religious reason, then why the heck not, but COME ON!  Just reading most of the article made me feel like mostly hurling.

To President Bush, fair well, I wish you no harm but it will be nice to NOT have to listen to the media harp on you anymore…  And as an added bonus you won’t HAVE to speak publicly anymore…  To President Obama, good luck sir.  I am delightfully pleased that the media has already started altering public perception of our economic situation, and I’m looking forward to things brightening up a bit.

Again, congrats and good luck Mr President.

Whitestone Motion Pictures

This is the video from Riv yesterday, I dig.  Soapbox time…  I love music, and I want to love “Christian” music, but for so long “Christian” music is uber fluffy, eat rainbows and poop butterflies kind of music.  I love this song not only for the content, but the grit.
