Di’s Grandpa passed away this morning. He had been dealing with sliding health for a while now, had a heart attack on Friday and passed this morning.
Bummer. But at least he has a bigger audience for his poems now

We were able to see him yesterday morning before we left Buffalo (we were up for the weekend). He seemed like his normal self – happy, joking, and knew who everyone was. This was pretty unexpected and everyone seems to be taking it pretty hard. Nick will be up tomorrow and I’ll be up later in the week (unless Nick changes his mind and wants me to go tomorrow). Although we look forward to seeing everyone, its kind of a bad way to have a family reunion.
